PhD Position (f/d/m)

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student with a strong background in RNA biology and infection biology for a 4-year doctoral project within the DFG-funded research unit DEEP-DV (FOR5200 | DEEP-DV: Disrupt – Evade – Exploit).

Your task

• An exciting and well-defined PhD project with close, expert supervision
• Integration into a highly interactive, interdisciplinary consortium
• Participation in structured training programs within MHH’s graduate schools in infection and immunity

Our requirements

• A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Virology, or a related field
• A strong interest in host-pathogen interactions and molecular mechanisms of gene regulation
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
